Hi
Does anyone know where i can get a front anti roll bar for my 1990 316i.
Mines snapped, i've looked on ebay, theres one on but it says fits all models. Is this right?

A good upgrade is to fit a thicker one from a 325i or 318is, also if yours is a saloon it won't have a rear rear at all being a 316i so you could fit a rear one as well, both will be available on here and probably won't cost much

All front ARBs, except M3, will fit your car as long as they are fitted with the appropriate rubber bush, but the thickness of the bars varies.
Put up a post in 'parts wanted' on here.

Thanks for quick reply.

The one i've seen is from a 325 tourings so should be ok then.
I'll get it bought.

the touring front arb is generally 21mm (unsure there) so make sure you get the associated bushes..

good going snapping one though, you must be driving it as bmw intended.

watching ebay, they're just not selling, so try pick up a set, a rear arb is definitely worth fitting, but you don't need the thicker rear, unless you feel it's necessary

As long as it comes with the mounting bushes or buy new.

Best mod I've done to my 316i was the 325i ARB's with all new bushes. The front made the best difference, the rear made it easier to pop the back out :-D
