Nice ! . . . I like a Tech 2 touring  . . .

I had the same issue with the tow bar, having to cut the rear bumper is a hard thing to have to do,but like you I need to be able to pull a trailer . . .

This is my old one . . .

It rotted out unfortunately and was beyond repair, I considered putting the kit on the new one but decided to keep the standard look so sold it on about 2 years ago . . .

If your putting lowered springs on have you considered the camber correction kit for the rear beam ? . . . .

Lowering the car looks great, and it'll handle a bit better too but when you lower the car it pushes out the camber for the rear wheels. There's no camber correction facility on the standard setup so if left as it is it can wear the inside edges of the rear tyres prematurely, the harder you drive it the quicker they'll wear.

"Dan The" was doing a kit that welds onto the rear beam or even a rear beam thats already been sorted and powder coated that gives you the option to correct the camber, also worth changing the rear beam bushes while you're there. I've not been on the site for a while and not sure if he still does it, but its well worth asking him the question.
