Tbh the e36 one isn't as good as the e30 one, as for trying to butcher an e30 on into an e36, I think it would sell the e30 one and try and buy an e36 one.

The top edge and clips on the e36 one are completely different.
cheers,

E36 ones are a lot more rare, especially as saloon / coupe versions are different.

Saying that, not sure if the actual blind might be the same on both, just the shelf is different?

I put one in my e36 and tbh the blind shelf and standard one look identical other than a slot cut in for the blind to poke through, so maybe you could fit a saloon blind in a modified coupe shelf, and just buy new clips.

The clips are odd too, they pish over a metal tab in the roof skin, and have a rubber pad which presses against the rear screen. Quite handy as it means you don't have to punch holes in your headlining or pillar trims.
cheers,

harry

The clips are shared between saloon and coupe but the binds are different.
