Hey all

Came off the road after hitting a patch of black ice! :(

Hit a curb and only slight damage to the front end including one every bent wing! and front valance!!!

Im afraid my relationship with BMW is very short lived as with a constant rough idling problem and rot im sorry to say shes going to the scrap yard in heaven!

Nice 1.5 twin cam 16v vtec sport honda civic will be replacing her! :) cant wait

So if any1 would like bits from a 316i LUX i.e Lamps, rear headrests etc?for a lil cash message me!

Been fun all take care and drive safe! lmao!

why does everyone make the "black ice" or diesel excuse?
:)

the senario was, you came around a roundabout toofast, back end steped out. you were then a passenger, then you shat yourself as the car proceded to hit a curb. e30 rip.

now your going all council with the civic.

Bit of luck it wasn't a 318i imagine the trouble he would have been in with all that extra power.

Shame another E30 had to die this way, best of luck with the next skid pan course.

Seriously, isn't about time we made 'skid pan' training part of the driving test? I've been on two with the police many years ago, had a right laugh in my old 323i

If you tell people where you are then I'm sure you might be able to generate some interest in parts.

Says it all really. I'd rather get the bus than drive something like a Nova.

One of the reasons my car will be up for sale soon is the boyracer/chav image the E30 is now unfortunately picking up.

My 320 is completely standards ,does this make me a gimp??

If it does can you come around and put some quality Mods on it for me so it will be devalued even more and my neighbours think I'm going through some kind of mid life crises. I really want some under car lighting like the cavalier I see around town.

fwd = no handling and f'all grip anytime!

Any car is better modified not with lights and bollocks like that but with suspention etc.
Nova's? and they handled well since? nah didnt think they did and the thought of a 2ltr nova handling? dont make me chuckle!
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!

It is a well known fact the vauxhall speedo's overead massively. Had one that said 85 on the clock, and was 70 by gps.

As for a nova sr beating aor coming close to a 325 you are having a laugh i hope, as soon as you come to a straight or any part of the track for that matter the 325 will go about twice as fast.

What mods have you got, a bonnet vent to cool that beauty of a 1.3 carb engine. If you do that you're more likely to freeze the bloody carb up.

iil325

do you have a halfords storecard? do you also find yourself recieving alot of corispondance from yes car credit?

what do you find is the best compromise for handling and looks on the "thirty" with regards to spring height?, -105 or -125???

also which tyre to you think produces the best smoke pattern when doing burnouts? nankangs? camac?

your having a laugh

fact 1
astra gte couldnt touch my old touring on track
fact 2 205 1900 mi16 couldnt either (driver was inexperianced)
civics and crx couldnt touch me again
so i hardly think a nova will beat me
and that was on a track with a small straigh

so a bigger track i would just kill you

have to stand up for the vauxhalls a bit here..

Nova is a sucessful rally car, and they do handle. the 1.3sr lump is actually not all that bad, of course in standard trim it will lose to a 325i but they are tuneable, knew of one with a nice spec'd mods, that could leave a v6 cav. with the 2.0 in the front, the handling isnt quite as good but only in the same way as an m30 into an e30 tbh

i think all the XE powered cars have higher topspeeds than a 325i

i'd rather have an e30 tho dont get me wrong, much more class and rwd

just because its a nova dont mean it needs to have tacky modes, like neon lights, just a set of 16" wheels, big brakes (288mm) and a 16v will do. i aint going to stick a magnet on it and drive through helfords

as for them being slow my friends corsa got a 12 at santapod at usc

there is a video here of a nova scobby and a e30 who should win around the track
