Why is it so hard to find a convertible hood? :(

Best price I can find for a brand new one is about £400, is that around the average price?

Trying to find a used one in blue.

A good OEM 2nd hand roof will cost you at least £300. I Paid £350 for a good one from a zoner on here. They do come up for sale from time to time in the for sale section.

Adit on here had one a while back for sale it may be worth giving him a PM, and Paul (Z3I) tends to sell at least a couple each year.

A good quality new roof will cost you more in the region of £750+ fitted.

I have a lovely Black hood still fitted to the car for inspection, no holes/tears or loose threads with a nice clear rear window,

fitted 3 years ago at a cost of £740, it's complete with frame etc so it will bolt straight in there.. I will take £350 collected :D

Cheers lads, it really does need to be the dark blue one, the black one will look out of place on mine. I will definitely check out those websites :)

I hear there's a guy in the Midlands somewhere who does cracking jobs for fitting a new rear window on the roof, not sure who it is exactly, anyone know? Meant to be well known in the BMW community
