Iv installed a BBTB from that guy on ebay for a while now. It seems to whistle at about 10% throttle. I had one on my m20 engine that whistled and that turned out to be a sharp step where the larger bore of the TB met the smaller bore of the intake manifold. Whistle = turbulence = loss of power.
Specs are;
m52b28
m50 intake manifold
Has anyone had this problem with a BBTB on a m50 manifold?

I have the same bimmer tune bbtb. I get both the sticking and the slight whistle (but only if I open the throttle at the right speed, if I hold it at say 10% there is no whistle, or if I drop the clutch and punch the throttle I don't get the whistle... It is very faint, but it's there, not too sure how it's affecting power.

I did try to warn you guys about the bimmer tune BBTB, mine had sticking issues and it DOES NOT seal when shut. The last track day it done it stuck at WOT
mine has sat in my shed since.

did my S52 cam swap and guess what the BBTB isn't sticking any more and the brakes are even better what a strange thing. Guessing it must be down the vacuum of the new cams
