Hey all,
The passenger side on the tonneau cover rattles like mad. Its driving me insane.!
I can't seem to located where its rattling from, its definitely the tonneau cover as I can replicate the rattle by wiggling it when its closed.
Anyone had this or know how to fix it.?

Yup.! The passenger side rattles like mad when its closed. I've tried wrapping various bits of the mechanism with tape to see id I can see what parts knock together, but no avail....

Sounds like the catch is faulty as once locked down in poisition it shouldn't move. Is there any plan in the catch or on the latch attached to the horseshoe?

No it all looks fine, I've tried wrapping tape around various bits of it to isolate the rattle but no joy.
I think its the lid itself as it doesn't rattle when the roof is down and tucked away, creating a bit of upward force on the lid from within.
Will investigate the catch again.!

If its the horseshoe itself thats rattling then it may just need re-alligned which can be done via the 4 bolts that attach it to the car.
Also what condition is the horsehoe seal in. As it could have rubbed through or be missing altogether as these are notorious for disintegrating.

Also, access to the top mounts for the rear suspension are inside the horseshoe area so could be something loose there also.
Mine has a rattle from the same area but its because I lost a 17mm socket down in the gap where the suspension mounts are accessed and for love nor money can i get to the bloody thing to retrive it.

Tried all sorts, the problem is that its down at the lowest part which is behind the rear seat and as its double skinned there is no way to get it to grip and then thread it up round the turn in the cavity.Magnet onna stick?
I fear its going to be a case of getting some expanding foam in there to get it to stay put.
