Found this on my trawl through eBay this morning:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... _768wt_922
I'm not an Alpina expert, but do like the look of it and if it's genuine, seems a good price?
Had a quick look on the Alpina register, but couldn't see it. Also, I know it was Cat D in 2000, so that might need a bit of investigation.

If that's a genuine car and is in good condition that looks a bargain!

so yours is going to take 8 grand to get mint?? mmm no thanksFind a mint example, and there won't be much change from 10 grand!

TBH, i'd rather buy one that needs work, throw 8k at it to get it where I want it. That way I'd know whats what and the car inside out.iceox wrote:so yours is going to take 8 grand to get mint?? mmm no thanksFind a mint example, and there won't be much change from 10 grand!
Rather than buy one for 10k and find other peoples work was as I would like and then have to do it all over again.
This could be a right result for someone this car. it's had the engine work, new alloys in 2000 which therefore have done fewer miles and it looks a straight honest car. Worth a look IMO

The flaw in that argument is that no B10 E34 is worth 10 grand. 5 at a push maybe, £3500 for a good one.

Very few e30 convertibles are worth 8 bags but many on here have ploughed that and more into them.Andyboy wrote:The flaw in that argument is that no B10 E34 is worth 10 grand. 5 at a push maybe, £3500 for a good one.

Well that didn't hang about. Looks like it was sold on Saturday afternoon.
Wonder if anyone here bought it?
Will be interesting to see whether it resurfaces in a few weeks with another bag on it or if it's a keeper for the new owner?
