Sorry for another topic about - 'what would you do...'

But, for a white facelift with black bumpers, would you spray them white or replace with white bumpers?

Probably going to be cheaper if you can find some decent white bumpers.

Are all the bumpers black or just the plastic inserts? you could get the trim sprayed, or the whole bumper, probably would be 150 or so for 2 bumpers though, you may be better off looking for colour coded bumpers the same colour (colour coded), can't remember which variants are colour coded though, think possibly se and sport, someone on here will know.

Thanks, ah ye. Well £150 doesn't sound too bad. They're totally black, do you mean trim as in door trim (which are also black) or bumper trim (like the outside edges)? Mine's a regular 4 door btw.

Yes what I mean is are the bumpers all black or are they white with black clip on trim trim fitted?

as if they are white with black trim, it wouldn't cost much to spray the trim at all, infact you could almost do it with a spray can if you took your time, as such a small area to paint.

If they are all black you would have to spray the whole bumper, alternatively buy some already colour coded the same colour as your car.

Might be worth putting a post up in the wanted section to 1. see if anyone has any and 2. how much a set would cost, then you can work out which is cheaper option.

Ah I see, yes they are all black.

Once my other stuff is sorted I will probably set up a wanted add as you suggest as it will be worth seeing how much it will set me back if there are any.

mate, found you this, this guy is selling colour coded bumpers for a very reasonable price of 25 each, you won't get any cheaper than that.

Cheers

I had two plastic bumpers sprayed standard black at a local body shop for £90.

Does makes a big difference, even on a black car
