I hate keeping white cars clean, I'd really hate keeping a freshly painted one clean :-x

The 2 colours I said I'd never have again were white and red - my Sport is red, the touring white

That looks really good, a bit of kick to sort mine out 8O

I have to say that the paint and overall finish looks very good indeed, but the panel fit and bodykit fit is to OEM Land Rover spec.

+1. And the bonnet and wing gaps are all over the place.

Certainly looks shiny enough.

Sort out the gap issues, lose the BK scrap and council plates and it will look quite respectable.

This is going to sound like some kind of vendetta but it isn't, I'd point this out whoever it was so...

Yes it does indeed look lovely, a good white Sport is a rare and good looking chariot, especially as it looks like some kind of red interior also 8)

But... apart from the bonnet, both bumpers and at least one side pod not lining up properly, why do I detect obvious Photoshopping? These jumped out straight away whilst just looking, so don't assume I went nitpicking!!

We have some obvious and poor p.shopping circled in red...

Yeah I did wonder about P40 but I opened it up seperately from here, zoomed in and it has p.shop characteristics in the pixels. Same with the sunroof bits and the corner of the bonnet. Looks like poor use of the Cloning Tool in P,shop...

True, it can be seen in the other rear quarter shot also. The one I highlighted does have some blurred pixels when zoomed in seperately and does look like being 'shopped. The other could have been done also, unlikely I know and may be dreadful filler work instead (bit like the panel/kit fitments!!)

Just opened it up seperately also but it doesn't look too obviously worked on so wouldn't like to say either way. The close up looks 'shopped zoomed in and the quarter shot could be either! So yeah could just be crappy workmanship :(

If it is genuine, then I apologise for insinuating a hiden agenda :D

What about the dodgy filler work and poor fitment though?
Shame if so as, like I mentioned above, a white Sport is a great looking chariot 8)

No inquisition, but a couple of genuine questions.

Why would your painter paint the car with the comedy panel alignment? Surely he'd sort that before flinging paint at it? The possibility of damaging the new paint when it could all be done before painting makes it utterly pointless in my view - unless there's something I'm missing?

I know I've complained about the time my guy takes, but he'd never let that out of his place. The bonnet honestly looks like Steve Wonder fitted it in the dark.

Were the bolt on panels and the kit painted off the car?

And who did the filler work at the rear light?

If it was the painter or his people and you do give him the amount of work you say you do, then I'd be having a word.

I suppose the other question would be "How much?" .

Other than the filler cock up, half a day of careful fettling should sort out the alignment stuff and the paintwork does *look* good. If the price was right......

OK it's just light refraction from the windscreen, but in one shot you can partly see the interior and it looked slightly redish. A Cardinal or Crimson interior would look good in this.

Isn't walrus a trader? To be honest I know several traders and without exeption none of them would know how to open photoshop.

As a trader I also suspect he knows painters who'll be happy to squirt paint at anything to make it shiney. Getting a decent finish out of white isn't difficult.

Aparently so, but he also says he's a photographer and most photographers I know, know how to use Photoshop!! I've already apologised if it was genuine. Maybe I jumped to conclusions, given the history!!
Still no bloody excuse for coming back from a paintshop with badly aligned panels and that bit of fillerwork!! I suppose it does depend on how much it cost though.
This could be a bloody lovely looking E30 but I do fear it's been bodged and had paint just flung on :(
