Ignoring the price - other than the obvious cleaning and changing all fluids etc, I wonder what other work would be needed to get the car going?

Even though it might have 0 kms, surely things like bushes would be pretty perished by now?

Because maybe the valeter who parked it there 10 years ago had muddy boots or maybe even camera flash makes em look dirty? Fook me how sad are we to discuss mucky pedals!!!! But im sure if you turn up with 65k cash they will clean the pedals for you!!!

Yeah, cars are for driving and in that instance it wouldn't exactly be the only car so the miles wouldn't rack up, probably not in the rain though!

25k maybe, a 65k 518 is for collectors who drive much much more interesting & enjoyable chariots

if youre considering spending £65k on an old m5 then you probably already have a pretty large and varied collection.

if i had the money 'spare' i'd buy it and stick it in a climate controlled bubble in my vast car collection and keep it showroom fresh forever.

i'd also have a very tidy but completely useable one to actually drive too

You could say that about alot of cars kos. But when you say preserve what do you mean? Hope to make a profit in the future?

To buy one and maintain properly will cost you alot annually. To store one for X amount of years will also cost you, and then you have problems trying to make it road worthy.

The e34 m5 will never be as classic like its older brother the e28 but that's another conversation.

I do not honestly believe that this will ever be worth more than 65k, its never been that desirable and like previously stated its not the greatest spec! Defo better things to sink 65k into and end of day if its been for sale in its Homeland Germany home of rich beer drinking sausage eating fookers and still not sold that tells me its not worth the money! Quick way to lose 65k imo!
