Trying to get an Asbestos Sticker replaced with "Pukars" help - trouble is the number at the bottom is missing - comes from a 1988 Motorsport - maybe someone out there can check out their engine bay and provide the missing numbers at the bottom (92 15 XXXX 202) so as to get the perfect reproduction...

Pukar can then add it to his excellent collection.

...hi MrH

the 2 121 731 is the correct part number for the smaller asbestos sticker that i already have, but this is a larger one seen on fewer cars. if anyone has the number and a pic would be great to get the spacing corrrect, please post......

thanks all

Yep excellent - both photos give the answer - 92 15 0 000 202 - and spacing required. Thanks for your help!

I can also confirm that.

Asbestos was quite common in brake shoes and pads...

polsta - number plates. i am now able to produce B&W number plates and have had a few trial runs. colour is a bit more tricky as it's fine on the white but more difficult on the yelllow plate. a couple more tests needed and i should be good to go with colour too.

havent figured out the postage costs yet, but hopefully in the next few days... :D

AJ - i'm gonna wait the same amount of time before i reply

(just kidding, will get back to you with a draft mate in a day or 2)

In the civilized world, around the early 90's
But because there is no actual ban, some dubious countries are still using asbestos in the friction material of brakes and clutches.
