I personally think BBS RS look better on tech 1 than tech 2

Thanks Rob, they suit the vintage too.! As my turd is my daily drive I really don't think chromed dish BBS in excess of 1000 quid is a good idea. ; )

I need to stay off this site for a while. I told my mate not to engine swap his prefacelift the other day and not to mollest it. Now im starting to like the medium depth bbs with larger tyres. U fuckers have corrupted my vw born euro morales

im on 195/50/15 and i dont care what anyone on here says, they look much better than the 205/55/15 i had before.
and as for arch gap, buy some lowering springs. no problems with mine and arch gap. :)

im on 195/50/15 and i dont care what anyone on here says, they look much better than the 205/55/15 i had before.
and as for arch gap, buy some lowering springs. no problems with mine and arch gap. :)

I run 195/50/15 on mine with a 30mm drop. Ain't no gap at all. :)

you're right, 003's aren't really the type of thing you want to 'use' on the road, let alone take over hump backs at 60mph, 15" rs's are just an epic addition to 4pot handling - of which you're very, very, very much missing out on :-D

So in my case owning 003's if they're just for show is pointless, I have staggered alpinas if I'm feeling like 16" action..

Interestingly, as you have both, what's the weight comparison?

it's mostly about the the distribution of rotational mass, where 003's are likely to perform better but it's marginal, and cast arms will have more effect on hadling than the difference between the two..
