Basically I am on the search for a Z3 LSD for my m30 conversion and I'm new to the z3's and was just wondering is it only the Z3M that had the factory fitted LSD.
P.S I hope this is the correct place for this topic, admin move it if necessary.
What Z3 has the appropriate diff for a e30?

Z3 2.8 has a torsen diff as standard, the plate LSD from E28/E30 is best in my opinion. Google search torsend lsd for some info.

don't write off the 2.8 LSD. They will get a Z3 VERY sideways just like God intended and lsd to do. Its all a bit quick with them as Z3's are snappy. I'm sure one in an e30 will still send you the direction of the hedges

dunno, they use the same 5 speed box like 328s and m3's so it must be around the 3.15 mark is my guess. They do 60 in under 7 secs
