Can you make a baffle similar to how some do it on the s50 swaps...wouldn't it be the same thing?

i can remember mate if we did that or not now thats news to me . its power of elimination at the moment, just the vanos kicks good in all the time if im going down hill. from a hard start on a flat yes and no! from a curise then boot it then it yes as the car is nice a stable, till the oil (i think) runs to the back away from the pick up and no power kick thought the gears untill i hold it stable

so they dont suffer from starvation to the vanos even with the e34 sump? as e34's are heavy and slow dont pull off as quick as the m52 in a e30?

Ive never heard of oil starvation on any track car E30 with the E34 M50 sump.

If its the pulling off your concerned about I never have a problem doing 1/4 mile runs either

try just having a new vanos seal fitted. that more likely the real issue.!

or if you are running a cone style filter, the likelyhood is the filter is gettin warm in the ambient air of your engine bay and once driven with cool air passing through and over it the car feels like she pulls hatder..... relocate to a cooler place and make a heatshield up. orrrrr fit an airbox if you have no abs
