Citylink are the worst courier out there IMO and the service your getting sounds about right.
I would ask to speak to the manager of the dept and tell them if they dont get their act together they will be hearing from your solicitor. Have you tried head orifice?
I think this is the number - 024 7630 8308

Can they not provide the paperwork to show who signed for it?
That's the tracking details,
I checked it a couple of days after I sent it, it came up it had been delivered so thought nothing more about it, I was not going to harass gunni because I know he's always busy, and then to get a message a month later to tell me the loom and the vems wasnt there, obviously that just raised suspicion but now that iv spoke to gunni and Damian at D I RACING im leaning towards the courier being a thieving twat,
But I'll let the police be the judge, im not going to jeopardise my self by doing something stupid.

Craig I'm a self employed delivery driver most drivers and conpanys now use scanners which can't be cheated and they will have a digital imprint of the persons signature which goes straight to the servers at the depot and will be kept on file
once the driver scans the parcels at the the delivery address the scanners don't lie
the tracking automatically updates thro the scanner so personally if it said delivered I'd think that it had

This is quite a clear theft on somebodies part.
Citylink claim 3 parcels where delivered to DI Racing on the 26th of April. 3 different signatures according to Craig. There is only one employee there and who signs for everything that comes through, his name is on none of them. If you where the delivery driver and where dropping off 3 parcels wouldn´t you find it strange that the same guy would give you 3 different signatures?
One of the signed names "Tosh" is the signature of a guy up the road according to the TNT driver that the owner of DI Racing was able to talk to.
Craig wants to take it to the Police, which I fully support. There is NO way the driver in question is going to be able to point at DI Racing and claim he showed up with the package. Before the driver does anything he should be able to describe who he brought the packages too. When he is unable to give a correct description it´s very clear that he didn´t actually bring anything around.
It would be totally moronic of me or anybody related to me to steal this. I have invested years working for people building a reputation, I have done business across most continents over the last 14years, mostly over the internet and have never screwed anybody over. I´m affiliated into at least 10-15 projects at any given time with my customers and would NEVER risk my reputation for any amount. Some people unfortunately don´t realize that staying legal is actually more financially rewarding then crime and they willingly commit crime.

what some people will be thinking here is that those parts are only of use/value to you .
what would say a bakery want with a loom and vems.

gunni is right that don't make sence that 3 people signed for the same set of parcels you normally can them all together and get one signature that is rather odd
I know if we have parcels go missing we have to describe the person who signed for it then security get on to it if not then the police

The guy at city link told me that 3 parcels were delivered at the same time, and as we were talking he was looking at the signatures on his computer screen,Gunni wrote:This is quite a clear theft on somebodies part.

now, he said he could make out the name "tosh" clearly for one of the signatures, the second signature was v/v similar but not "exactly" the same but, he could tell it was the same writing, and then there was the signature on my parcel, he could see it was the same writing but the squiggle seemed to spell a different name, rose,
He also told me that they were all signed for within the space of nearly 60 seconds,
So now it seems a bit strange that the guy at citylink has told me he could clearly make out the name tosh...... And there is a tosh down your way......?

Something is not adding up right here, either all 3 parcels were signed for at the same time, or the driver only took 2 signatures then signed for the other his self,ross2009 wrote:gunni is right that don't make sence that 3 people signed for the same set of parcels you normally can them all together and get one signature that is rather odd

Dan won't be happy with an E34 loom as they do need a bit of extending if you want the ECU under the dash. I have no idea how different a Vanos loom is though mate. I can give it to him at the drag strip on Bank Holiday monday if that's any good mate.

It's ok lee mate, Dan told me to stick it where the sun dont shine
It would work with a lot of p!ssing about, its easier just using the loom from an e36, but hey,
thanks for the offer
Iv got other concerns now tho...
The diff im using is a 2.65, I went that low simply because of the boost I was going to run,
But now I have no way of getting to the 500 brake yet, im going to have to run it on the standard ECU but with the boost turned right down. (anyone know how far I can push the standard ecu?)
So because im not going to have the power output I was wanting, nor am I going to have the acceleration or the top end I wanted!!! I might have to change the diff aswell.
Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh

I hope so Ross, iv hammered the internet to see if either the loom or the vems is or has been up for sale in the last month,
But can't find any trace
But while I was looking I came across this...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330737603739? ... 97.c0.m619
Wonder if it's worth sticking a cheeky bid in, and buying a wideband lambda?
Or should I run it on the standard ecu till either the vems turns up, or someone pays up?

if you buy that you can always sell it anyway. Might need hardware changes to run a 6cyl I don´t know.

Fact. I'd happily modify a loom if it means you are untied with mani's and subsequently Craig is in receipt of his wiring requirements..DanThe wrote:Now come on mate, he's not going to fall for that oneBarx325i wrote:I'm a soldering pro. ^^^ really?
It looks like im going to have to start from scratch anyway ....
About 15 minutes after I spoke to someone with a bit of authority, I got this email,
CityLink have advised that the item was delivered to the correct place, therefore if your recipient has not received the item we can now declare the item as lost.
I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincerest apologies for the loss of your parcel/s and for the inconvenience that this may cause to you or your customer. It is a very rare occurrence for an item to be declared lost, so I am sorry that it has happened on this occasion. Unfortunately if the goods cannot be recovered after extensive searches by the carrier, it is the only, and very last option to declare the goods lost. Should the consignment be located in the mean time, we will of course immediately contact you.
We will now need to begin the claims process for you. Please can you supply a copy invoice or purchase receipt, showing the value of the goods, directly to Stacey (scuff@interparcel.com) in our Claims department who will be handling your claim. Alternatively you can send a hard copy to our postal address as listed on our Contact page online. Please ensure you include your order number with all correspondence.
As soon as our Claims Department receive the required documentation your claim will be processed and you will receive a final conclusion within 28 days.
Once again please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience that this has caused.
So now im at the mercy of the claims system
Danski and gunni...
Would it be possible for you to do me a receipt, Dan for the loom
and gunni for the vems,
Either a written one or knocked up on the computer and emailed to
cjgzee@gmail.com
So I can get this back on track.
Cheers : )

So there is an update.
It´s got good news and bad news.
First the bad news. I made an assumption which lead to me sticking to what I knew, even though I did ALL I could to find the package. Now making me looking like a massive humilited tool bag.
The good news : Today I decided to take the extra sump I had recieved a while ago and which was packaged into brown tape like you wouldn´t believe. When I attempt to open said package a VEMS and loom fall out. The only reason I NEVER looked at this package is because I did buy a E36 sump and when this sump looking package and I SWEAR it looked like a sump in cardboard and tape was to be opened it turns out I have not recieved my sump at all. I looked high and low in the garage and my extra sump is nowhere to be found. But i did infact find Craigs loom and VEMS ecu.
I must appologize for my oversight. The package in question must be the smalles loom package I have ever seen and I have bought loads of looms in the last two years.

Right, time to get this back on track, with a bit of an update....
Since the last time this was updated, the pain in the arse manifold has been finished
Seriously, this is the worst manifold we have ever made, when I said earlier in the thread, that making the manifold for this conversion was not for the faint hearted, trust me, I ment every word!
Anyway enough of the moaning because it's done now...

And fitted
Can't believe you can't see a thing

So now that the car is back at home, I can crack on with the rest of the bits that need done,
So today I fitted the 255 fuel pump,
and the new injectors
Changed the fuel lines for 10mm pipe
Fitted the rest of the water pipes,
Fitted the loom
Refitted the freshly painted tech-II valence
And started on the boost/intercooler pipes
Aswell as doing other little jobs, so at the end of play today
It looks like this

Hopefully it won't take much longer
