now i finally have a full set of 5 wheels it's time to treat them to a full refurb
off and ready for a short trip to Middlesbrough tomorrow.

managed to scrape together x4 wheels for it to sit on will i'm waiting .
2x 14" bbs on the back, x1 bottletop and a 14" steely on the front so needless to say it won't be moving

i have a couple of jobs to do while it's laid up ,fit m-tech 6-pot springs on the front to lift it up a bit as it's too low on the apex -55mm and scrapes the lip splitter on and off the drive.

then fit my first ever top tint screen ,Cheers uncle Steve i've wanted one of these for years

i am hoping for some sunshine eventually this year

the wheels are done
i pick them up along with a new boge turbo damper tomorrow .
one of the inserts stripped it's threads when fitting the m-tech springs so a slight delay in doing the suspension.i had the custom made h/p flexi power steering hose repaired as it burst after a bit of chaffing on the subframe[extra cable ties needed
] that cost £30 from pirtech
.
so i fitted hose back on only to find the p/s pump shit all the fluid over my drive, fantastico
m50 p/s pump now needed.
but these pics have cheered me right up,cheers Dezzy

cant wait to get these on the car

new damper fitted with the m-tech [innit] springs, now i can get on and off the drive without ripping the spoiler off and it sits exactly how it used to .
the wheels l@@k fantastic in the light, big thumbs up to Dezzy for sorting that out

loving the ride height at the front and being able to get a trolley jack on the lollypop mount without lifting the car up by the wing and kicking the jack under blind .
new damper fitted and a pic of the fooked threads on a perfectly good one thanks to fooking idiot grease monkey with too much psi and a windy gun
all the lower half threads were overtightened and crushed then ripped out when undoing the nut !

been a very good day for the car though

i can't be arsed with the x2 spring compressors i have so don't mind paying a garage to do that bit after i've took the legs off.
