too right

these and e39's :D

all much better than e30's as a daily

any one who still insists an e30 is good as a daily is delusional

after seeing that white 328i touring for sale i'm half tempted to go back to one as my dad is after my e39

I got rear ended at traffic lights.. Lights went red, I pulled up, the twat behind put his foot down to try and make the lights I think. Was never going to end well. Even less so when it turned out he wasn't insured.

So trying to make the best of a bad situation yes. Lee (E30Beemerlad) has been an utter leg-end over the last 3 months though, can't thank him enough.

It doesn't look too bad.. Bumper hides it. Bumper was pushed onto the wheel, and exhaust was buggered. Shell was split and crumpled, broke boot interior the side panel. About 3.5k of damage. It still drove home though.

Nothing as yet.. Gave false details, I rang the police to report it with reg number and pictures, but they couldn't give a shit.

Yeah and some ridiculous legal loophole of 'infringment of their rights' caused from them not giving consent to being photographed will be used and the evidence will be inadmissable :(

It's in Lee's capable hands.

A good idea I think. Although, I took pics and the police were not interested in them.. Even rang up to give them the address the car was registered to, and they actually refused to take it. Cunts.

Good luck, hope all works out with it!!

I got sideswipped a couple of years ago, didn't do loads of damage but I followed the car whilst on the phone to the Police giving location, reg no. etc. Didn't get out as was on my own, at night, the other car was full up with blokes and followed them into a v.dodgy postcode!! All I got from the Police was crap excuses about not being able to find him (they even knew who he was) but aparently he kept giving different addresses and his family kept covering for him saying 'he doesn't live here' etc etc. Police gave up after 6months!!

Another time 18mnths ago car had a window smashed and had of load of CD's, pair of shoes, sunglasses nicked (g/f's car) but luckily there was DNA from his blood left on a brick used to smash window!! He was a muliple offender but the Judge only set compensation at £50 which he is paying at a rate of £5 per month!!! Doesn't cover the £70 excess on window, the stuff nicked or the damaged seat (material has a gash from glass/brick). Really boils my p*ss that we're the ones that get f*cked....

Didn't want to rant, apologies....

The address is some shithole in Kent, although it's on a high street, not an estate.

Funny that it's a shithole AND his family are like-minded... :(

Mine was from a lovely estate! I think sweeping generalisation is acceptable here!
