And It's only a Sytner built UK only model B2.8 which doesn't have the engine, just the cosmetics and an Alpina exhaust.

What do we expect them to go for? £7-800?
Oh, and what became of the reshelled silver with green/blue stripes B2.8 that was up for sale a while back? Anyone know if it found a new owner? I'd have that one any day..

Funnily enough, I walked away from one of these because it was Henna red!

No it isn't. It's a standard 528i that was fitted with Alpina stuff about 5-10 years ago by it's Scottish custodian. It was in a Huddersfield showroom before he bought it in standard trim, complete with Metrics!
It's a nice car but it's 5-7 grands worth.

So it's just a clone then?
Just like that silver B2.8 clone that Tusker on the 5 forum built then sold which ended up for sale again with the seller claiming it to be original.

It is indeed.
Tuskers old car is sort of proper(ish). At least he bought a rotten B2.8, removed the revelant bits, restored them and fitted them to the car. I think he wrote to Sytners as well. It's not a 'real' one but he was completely up front about what it was.
