Not to sure if my oil pump is working, smashed my sump so replaced it, new oil and filter. Took sparks and fuel pump fuse out and cranked it for about 20 seconds, oil pressure light didnt go out. dont want to start the engine in fear of ruining it Ive read about pressure sender switches breaking but i was wondering if there is any other ways to check if the pump was working before i start the car or all out replace the pump. car in question is a 318iS.
