My e30 325i SE!

Ive only had it a few days so haven't had much chance to do anything yet, all its needing for the MOT is a few minor bits which shouldnt be too costly!

Taken it for a spin a few times yesterday and frankly it scares the shit of out me!!! Still getting used the the torque its taking me for a drive at the moment haha.

After its gone through the MOT im just planning on getting it nice and tidy, might take the tints out make it look less gangster!/take the cheesy air filter off and put a box one in, replace cracked headlamp etc! - Will also be changing the wheels!

Anyway nice to meet y'all e30 ppl - Look forward to my time here!

Al

Welcome to the Zone! Good idea to loose the tints, but the alloys don't look too bad.

I'd have one over a sport! 8)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

What did you drive before that made you shit yourself??

I was driving an e36 318 ti with a very clunky and grim gearbox so not much driving pleasure! Yea the electronic panel is on and lights up near the rear view mirror and lights up, and the trip comp in the dash is there but does not light up as of yet!

Sounds like you're in need of new backlight bulbs:

Beware if replacing dashboard bulbs for LEDs, as LEDs won't dim using the standard dimmer rheostat.

Have you tried turning up the lamps dimmer - just twist the headlamps switch clockwise.

They aren't LEDs. Just normal lamps.
