Some lovely cars there Rodderz - thanks for posting.

The Mk 1 Mexico's looked stunning, but I still have a soft spot for the RS1600i & the Fiesta Supersport - those were on my wish list when I was younger!

Looks like a good turnout anyway

I have a very soft spot for Sporting Mk1 Escorts and Lotus Cortinas.

I test drove a Fiesta Supersport back in the day.. unfortunately the stripes were more powerful than the engine!:)

It's £20 to get in there now.. that's taking the piss!!

I wonder what the green MK3 Cortina has got hidden under the hood?... Must be pretty big judging by the reworked bonnet..

It's an original Savage so it has a 3 litre V6. The bonnet was a purely cosmetic option at the time.

great pics thanks for posting

2 of my best mates have a 3 door moonstone, and a dark blue escort, cosworths, both mint like those, the 3 door is a 550 bhp monster been a long time in the making and the whole car is now at the specialist who built the engine- after my mate getting engine back, putting in the car and completing the car and trailored it back there... having its final tune up/and some electrics finished off, shes going to be on the road for the summer, cant wait to see it in action and be in it at long last

rs1600i a car ive always admired and dreamed off, i probably wont ever own one due to the prices now ..for what is essentialy still a mk3 escort, a mate had a supersport that he bought around 1995 at a guess, for a few hundred quid although was too young to drive, it ended up sat in his front garden for ages and we used to sit in it, as you do at 15, the odd drive up the road, it had a twin weber and sounded awsome ,i dont know what ended up happening to it .probably scrapped, if only he knew then what it would be worth 10/15 years later

Love the Ford shows, castle combe is the best show of the year IMO

my old toy was a rwd sapphire cosworth, only approx 370hp but it was awesome for the road, 2.2 bar of boost used to be a giggle, especially coming off roundabouts
