M50 manifold and throttle body - early non vanos engine?

Trying to find out have I got the right M50 intake manifold and throttle body. The part no's I have don't show up on realoem/bmwfans or on BMW's dealer system (have a guy check with BMW what it might be from). Googling the part no's it looks like it might be from a early non-vanos e34.

Part no's I have are
Manifold - 1720612 (with "-2.5" after the part no)
Throttle body - 1730363.9

After speaking with Ant yesterday, he was telling me the throttle body should measure the same diameter as the afm at 80mm, I measure it 74mm od. The butterfly measures around 64/65mm which I think is the regular size?

Right manifold or wrong one?

I'll get one tomorrow or as soon as it stops raining. I do remember comparing the runner size to the m52 one and it was noticeable bigger.

dont want to lead you down the garden path here Brend, but next to an m52 manifold the m50b20 one looks noticable bigger....

my old m50 engine was from an e34 525, it was then when i measured the maf as i was trying to find the right size hose extension to fit a filter

There's a noticeable difference I remember that much, you just worried me on the TB and then the manifold cause thats stuck to it

Thats the same part no I have on mine. Did it end up on a m52 as well?

Just realising I don't have the other cover, the m52 needs moding doesn't it?

Yes that manifold went on an M52.
M52 cover needs modding slightly,didnt bother with it on mine to be honest mate.

i didnt bother using the plastic cover there either boys, looks ok with the silver piping showing imo
