As part of an on-going interior refurb, the Sport has these now fitted.......

Took 2 years to find such an interior and then a further 18 months of on/off work with cleaning and feeding. The seats are completely un-touched originals, with no re-colouring/re-conolizeing/re-paneling/re-stitching/boot polish or general council abuse :D

Next to do inside this car will probably be the sound system.Any ideas on where i can get new foam for under the grills for these?...

New grills dont seem to be available anymore. :(

Thankyou for looking. 8)

No mate. They were in very good order initially, just very dirty and quite hard(particularly the passenger seat)as they had been in storage for many years. The main thing for me was that they were original, quality items and sold to me without being "dressed up" which can not be said of the vast majority that i had viewed previously!

Not really much to tell with these tbh. They were an exceptional set of seats to start with. The time just went into cleaning and feeding, panel by panel. The only products i used were from Gliptone....gt11 and gt12.

Many thanks for the comments guys.

TBH i dont think im as qualified as some on here to post about this?
However, this is how i achieved the above,in order....

#Find "quality" leather.(thats the hard part out of the way about the job! :P )
#Hire van and transport the best part of 600 miles round trip.
#un-load van and put whole interior into spare bedroom, ignoreing ear ache from girlfriend.
#clean with warm water thourghly.
#clean with Gliptone GT12,panel by panel,properly.
#replace girlfriend.
#condition with Gliptone GT11,panel by panel,analy.
....job done :P

am i wrong in assuming that its the seats and not the new girlfriend you conditioned with Gliptone GT11 analy?

perhaps you could just get some normal thin sponge and stick it on with some glue brushed carefully onto the back of the grille?

(looking good mate  )

Im going to have a look around and see whats available regards the foam. Pitty really as new grills were reasonably priced when they were available.Ive been told various parts have been NLA before by dealers though only to try another dealer and they can get what i want.

Thankyou for the kind comments everyone. 8)

Looks great Ash. This car just gets better and better.

I'm sure you know but the premium audio speakers definately need an amp. Mine are run directly by a 50wx4 JVC Headunit and the whole thing powers down above a certain volume. :o:

Ive tried a few products but the Gliptone has given the best results imho.If your leather is in good order,gt11 and gt12 will do the trick. 8)

Nice ones are hard to get,so i believe.
Mine were cleaned with water and then Jeffs Werkstat applied to condition and give a natural sheen.

Well so far I've just got the rear speakers in, have to say though I'm still not entirely comfortable with how much I had to cut out the parcel shelf to get them in there.

I've also got the tweeters sitting on top of my wardrobe waiting for some spare time and money. I'm toying with saving up and asking Base systems to hide an amp somwhere then uprate the front speakers as well so it all fits and sounds right.

My battery and tool compartments are starting to go in the boot though so I have to fix this first, then I have the yank tank to worry about  too many turds under my feet. :D

They only came up for sale due to a change of circumstances at the time, iirc. I just fell lucky with it.They do get more conditioning than use though :o: I would love a nice set of red leatherz 8) ..your crimson ones will be superb in the black pina. winkeye

Sounds like your a stage or two ahead of me mate,as all my stuff is in the spare room including the shelf. :)
