Just had a search and can't find any info on which LSD's will fit my 1989 325.
Does anyone know if there are any other BMW LSD's from other model that will bolt straight on or are we limited to E30 LSD's?
Thanks
Will an LSD from another model fit?

E28 diffs fit E30s, not sure about E34s but would assume that 7 series diffs wouldn't fit.

For a "Bolt straight on" LSD, only E30.
You can fit LSD's from other BMW's of the same era, but this will involve swapping backplates, Output flanges and possibly input flange aswell.

Z3 2.8 diff. fits (can't remember if I swapped the backplate or not), but the ratio is only suitable for gearboxes with a direct top gear, not the overdrive fifth fitted to E30s.

Thanks for the info guys.......I've been reading through the E30 WIKI trying to find out as much stuff as I can but that wasn't on there.
