Car is as purchased, previous owner got the car looking how it is and I'm focusing on mechanical side.

Looks the daddy :)

Very nice looking- but forum rules state "if your car is nice looking, you will need to post up multiple pictures and give some info- not just a couple of teaser pics"

So get on with it :D

I'm interested to learn (I'm sure I'm not the only one either) where you managed to find such a stunner!!

Looked at perhaps 2 hardtops and a couple of convertibles over the last few years and they have not 'pulled' me in - i checked this out and barring some mechanical bits i could not really fault the car on general condition and it looked peachy...in grey and what i remember from 20 years back being 17 and passing my test buying a marina then onto cortinas whilst watching these brand new 325i sports driving about the place!

It's got good history, no rust and following mods :

Full equal length stainless manifold;
Full Stainless Exhaust;
Recovered steering wheel in grey;
Spax shocks/springs;
Lenso staggered alloys.

What i've already done.....

Cambelt / tensioner
Oil / filter
New Sump
Sub frame bolt drilled out
Diff oil (pretty clean what came out which is good..).

Immediate plans:

Tappets;
Main rubber hose going from manifold;
gearbox oil;Image

It's certainly a lovely car, but did you buy it from a private seller close to where you live or an internet sale. I'd love a nice Sport, but I haven't seen anything as nice as yours. Great purchase.

Jobs i've done so far over winter :

Colour coded the side indicators delphin grey (kept orange plastic) - looks really good;
Replaced plastic scuttle panel covers (around wiper arms) - they had gone grey and replaced for £25 quid all in from BMW;
BMW centre alloy wheel stickers;
Sprayed inlet manifold;
sprayed rocker cover and sanded BMW & FINS;
Took rear plastic number plate surround off to clean off some wax marks;
Generally cleaned engine.

To do before car comes out for summer - introcude some bass for system (sub and amp), replace foam on bonnet (£45 ordered from BMW), rubber inlet manifold tube is a little cracked so replace and get the tappets done as first job in garage.

I'll get some more photos up soon :)

interesting - you know the car from previous owners and its always good to hear its the car i think it is - condition wise. Cheers mate

(there is a self tapper on each side but they are black so dont look toooo bad - car is in better shape than when i collected as i've spent cash on the mechanical side - looks wise it was sweet)

Cheers for the comment mate

That is very nice mate. If you need any info on the 2.7 conversion, feel free to ask as I had mine done with my sport. If it has the clear indicators it would look the business.

They have BMW logos now - perhaps not in the early shots.

I like the orange indiccators - had the black plastic surround off the side ones professionally sprayed dolphin which blends into the car really well..

cheers all
