faulty fuel gauge

Hi guys can anyone help me as i have a faulty feul gauge in my e30 the needle keeps hoping around all other gauges are ok any suggestions? cheers.

If you remove the cluster you will find a nut on the back of the gauge, it could be loose. If not that it could be loose wiring from the sender under the rear seat.
