Hey chaps,
Ok my car is acting strange again! Last night I started it up and the battery and abs light came on. Turned it off and started again, fine.!
Today I started it and gear box light came on, autobox wouldn't shift out of first gear. Stopped and started again, fine.!
My left indicator light on the dash also began to flick really fast yesterday but today it seems normal.
I can only assume my car is possessed or these are related to a shared ground point which needs cleaning up. Where can I start looking for ground points?

I suggest that you spray it with holy water and say a small prayer to try and expel these evil spirits...alternatively you could check your earths as a starter for ten..
cheers

Ground wires are brown on these, so check any that bolt to the body, including the engine earth strap.

Thanks guys, can anyone off the top of their head remember where the earthing points on the body are?
What about the ECU plug? Might that be faulty?

They're in there under "Ground Distribution"

So based on what parts are acting weird I need to check grounds;
G103 - On RH shock tower
G200 - Under LH side of dash under brake pedal

You can probably ignore the brake pedal reference on a right hand drive car.mcbonio wrote:So based on what parts are acting weird I need to check grounds;

G200 is behind the glove box I think.
