acquired a 325, its been sitting in my garage for about a month, i removed some parts recently and i noticed a oil leak on the floor, on the OS just in front of the engine, didnt have too much time to inspect it,

though it was head gasket but its recently been done about a year ago when i checked history, rocker cover is dry.... as is sump

could it be that its not torqued down enough? so its seeping out... quart turn the head bolts? :?

It could be the oil thermostat valve on the oil filter housing. I did mine about a month ago. BMW have a replacement gasket kit for about a fiver. Locate the oil filter and feel around underneath it for oil.

Read all about it here, not sure if this is in the WIKI, maybe Grrrmachine can verify?
