About time too Paul. You going to make the meet at Boyds on the 11th since you can now drive it.

Actually might be the 13th. I can't make it as I'm away. There is a thread in the meets section.
I'm shocked he is capable of finding his ass hole with both hands if thats the case. Never mind posting on here.DanThe wrote:Yeah, he;s got hammered to make the bill seem betterDezzy wrote:Anyone translate?318isPMK wrote:I looping this car!

I only drink before I come on here for fear I might realise how gash Dezzy's patter really is!
Whatever the course of your drinking. You've still shelled out 5k+ on a 1500-2k car. I think my patter is the least of your worries.

Well I didnt know about this site at the time and they rarely come up for sale up here it was a spur of the moment purchase so paying £2,800 probably was a bit OTT but I was thinking a little more out upfront would buy me a minted one.
It was just unfortunate the drive chain jumped!
mechanics and clarvoyance are not my strong suit

Yeah I did my steering knuckle I think the rubber bush wears and makes the steering feel abit loose, it does make a big difference though. gear box and engine mounts are on my to do list, as is pretty much everythign else
.

btw i flicked through your pics of the car...looks clean to me..is it just mechanical problems youve had.

As much as you have shelled out for your car mr PMK. At least if it is as clean as it seems in your pics thats the biggest battle over a duff engine. Keep an eye on it mind, the tin worm is relentless. Especially Scotland's usual climate..

Haha if that's what is "coming though" it's time to get in there with a screwdriver
Don't forget the dust pan and brush.
Didn't want to go with an e36/z3/e46 rack replacement while it was all going on?
And how did it have a kink in the steering column?

Bubble might be quite an apt word
Well worth looking into converting from bus spec steering to one of the above mentioned racks. Have a look at the bottom of this page:
