Today i had nothing better to do so i went round the garage and stripped out the interior of my car,
including stripping off the sound deadening, what a sad basterd.
I knew i was gonna have issues with the sills when i viewed the turd, i have a mobile welder thats gonna come and have a look, if i dont like the sound of him the car can go up north for someone else to do.
Enjoy the pics
Grimness rear sill drivers side, the rest of the sill is good.

passenger side

What do you reckon then chaps, easy fix

Oh and the floor pan and bulkhead are good, 1 new floor bung required.
And the carpet is a lot easier to get out than one from an E30.

They look quite straight forward Simon, should drop down enough so the welding can commence.

i found best with those small grub screws Chris a battery drill popped them out on my E30. With the a nice snug new bit cant remember what. They can be a right pain if they've rusted in a little. The torque on the bat drill gets um moving, they're quite a fine thread

Oooh, that looks a bit ugly !
If it transpires that your man is a beast best suited to patching up Solihull scrap and Tech 1 turds
Bob will sort that properly .
PS No M40 tourings about at the moment, though I hear there is a cheap silver one down your end with a
slight misfire !

I've a couple of shells - Ron's getting bits off one - but the chances of getting a breaker with good sills and jacking points is slim. I'd be concerned at the join between the inner sill and floor pan there too.
