so my indicator when turning right has decided to flash at double speed. The left position is fine, as I know they are both separate looms. I thought to myself. Oh, just a bulb will sort it. Then I checked and it was the back right but the bulb was fine. I gave the connections some WD40 and a bit of a wiggle then all was fine but a couple miles down the road it started flashing fast again. I hopped out and went to the back to find it was flashing though. Turns out the front right has stopped working now! Now going to have a look at the front bulb/connection so will let you know the outcome. Could this just be a major coincidence or is there a wiring/relay problem? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Corrosion of the plugs, especially the front ones inside the bumper, will make them flash fast while the bulb still glows.

the bulbs wernt working though. :S just had a look and the front one was just a dodgy connection on the bulb. Must have just been a big coincidence! I only posted this up cos i was sure it couldnt have been and must have been an electrical fault but hey ho. haha.

The most common problem at the front is cheap bulbs which corrode. The front indicators are not, and are not intended to be, waterproof. Their insides are made from corrosion resistant materials, so no problem there, until a poor quality bulb is added to the mix.
Second most common at the front is a toss up between corrosion of the wiring where it's been cut at some time by being caught between the front panel and the front of the chassis after a front end shunt, and damage to the wiring into the plugs at the back of indicators after the wiring has been damaged by someone trying to remove a front bumper single handed, and stretching the wire.
