Right, ive started gettin a vv irratating noise coming thru my passengers side front speaker, it is kinda a ticking noise that is in time with the second counter on the display (ticks every time a second passes!!) it only comes from that speaker no others.. It gets louder when you turn the volume up also!
Anyone got any ideas?

hmmmm puzzler. have you tried resetting again - and if so does it cure it again temporarily at least?
sounds like a problem with the changer then rather than the head unit. does the changer have a reset? how well is the changer lead located in the back of the head unit? might be worth removing the h/u and ensuring that it all goes back ok without putting any strain on the lead anywhere, fiddly granted. is the changer lead chafed anywhere along its length?
are you running any amps? if yes then it's worth earthing all the system together. (rarely done, rarely required) - from a car electrical stockist get hold of some flat earthing weave and connect it from the amps earthing point to the headunit and the cd changer earths too, thus ensuring that the whole system is earthed together thus eliminating potential earth loops.
if none of this works we'll have to think again.

basically dude, when it comes to decent sounds u gotta get the earthing right! U got any amps in your system?if so make sure theyre earthed properly (on bare metal)
also check the lead from the changer to the head unit, and check that the remote off (if connected) is set up correctly.
Firstly thogh, check there is no contact between the wire running to the speaker and the power supply for the clock?!
hope this helps

when you reset it kinda goes away for a bit then comes back gradually louder n louder...
I've reset it a few times now n the result is always the same
I'll whip the headunit out this weekend n check the wiring is all good n secure n then see what happens
