rear fog lights not working

Have you tried disconnecting the switch and bridging the terminals together to imitate the switch?

Fog light circuits differ depending on which country the car was intended for. This is for the UK version:
For the rear fogs to work, the ignition and either the dipped headlamps or the front fogs have to be on.
If they don't work, use a piece of wire to bridge between the actual fuse wire of fuse 27 or 28 and fuse 15. The rear fogs and the tell tale in the cluster should light.
If they don't, pull out the switch, unplug it, use another piece of wire to link together the yellow/black wire and the grey/purple wire of the socket and turn the ignition and dipped headlamps on. Fogs should light.
If they don't, leave the link on the switch in place, and link across the fuses again.
