Hi There,

I am on this forum from a while and I tought I show you guys my replica M3. I will post more pictures soon with some progress pictures.

The start

And here are some recent shot with the new 2012 look.

Hope you like.

I bought the car for six years ago. It was a "Facelif" model. I drove the car a while stock then I upgraded it with M-Paket II parts. Since the M3 was always my dreamcar I tought I build one from my stock car like BMW did in '80s... so I bought the fenders from BMW, and find a used Rear window frame and demaged rear bumper. The front bumper is a great replica of the original, like the rear wing.

Then we started to cut the car in pieces

no way back

test fit

so the fender looks ok on the left side go ahead and cut it again...

next was the rear window frame... without this part the job isn't complet.

Thanks! Yes fenders, rear window frame, rear bumper and trunk lid are original BMW parts, the front bumper, the side skirts, EVO wing and Cecotto front are fiberglass.

thanks guys, the color isn't 100% original BMW. It is a mixed one the base is the E90 Sparkling Graphit but a bit darker. Stunning under the sun.

I really don't like the result...unfortunately the color shape went wrong and the paint had too much blue :? but overall I can get used to it. I tought for a while.

and bought a set of used AC Schnitzer 8,5x17 et13 wheels
Image

and mounted them... I upgraded to 5x120 with E36 and E36 Compact parts.

I need to go more lower so I put the car to the ground with FK coils
Image

the car looks great outside, time to go inside. I changed the seats to E46 M Sport coupe seats, and used some alcantara on the sidepanels and rear seat too. I replaced the steering wheel too and mounted AC Schnitzer pedals. The car has automatic gearbox I need that because I had an accident for many years ago.

the wheels after refurbish...

During the winter the car was repainted in a mixed Sparkling Graphit BMW color.

and finaly the AC Schnitzers are mounted

One of the better reps I have seen. Much better than the fibreglass and filler monstrosity that is currently being built.

Out of interest, how come you have to stick with an automatic?

I am guessing medical? If so have you considered fitting an s50 with SMG? Would give this beauty the power it deserves!

Thanks guys! I have something new again. Blacked out my old AC Schnitzer monoblock wheels and made a custom front splitter under the EVO spoiler. Had a photoshooting last weekend and wanted to share with you the result. I am working on the pics but here is a teaser. Hope u like :D
