red leather interior

Hey all,
I want to upgrade my cabby interior from my sports anthracite houndstooth to a cardinal red leather sports.

What do you guys think is best? Try and find a cardinal red interior or find a mint leather cabby interior and dye it?

Opinions please.!

I reckon you will wait a while to find a cardinal red interior? You may get lucky though.

dying a beige one once it has been stripped back will be pretty effective imo, and it does not have to be in fantastic condition.

what is the colour of your car?
I think red ish interior quite nice in white or black car, and probably would be easier to dye than to find one.

Cheers Ross! LOL... I know a cardinal is near impossible. Thats why I'm thinking a cream/grey one dyed red would work. There are lots of great dyes out there now.

D1mkaz, my car is a lach silver cab, I think a deepish red / oxblood would look nice.

i think oxblood is lighter than cardinal and is really red were as cardinal is more brown or like mine which were orginally cardinal but have been redone more like a crimson

No E30 ever came with Ox blood red leather.

Cardinal then crimson.

Hey ross,
Damn that interior is sweet, give it to me.!

I think my best bet is a good condition cream/grey and dying it.!

There is a forum member called "Huish" selling a red cabby interior, he wants 800 for it, too expensive for me atm. Would rather find a fixer-upper.

lol 800 thats alot of dolla i paid 600 for mine and i thougt that was alot of money

but having said that i wuld really like mine a little darker cardinal i would love

i'm totally gagging for a red leather interior.. I have a mint anthracite houndstooth at the moment, although its very nice, i think the red leather would rock it.

What you think my mint anthracite houndstooth sport is worth?
