when i'm on smooth roads, makes no difference if i'm accelerating or not, feels pretty much the same at all speeds although about 40% of the time i don't feel it at all.
Not as extreme as running over catseyes, more like paint strips or something. Could it be a wheel bearing?
Feels like i'm running over cats eyes

Maybe a tyre gone out of shape?

i've just changed the wheels which are perfectly balanced and have very new tyres on them. Sorry, should have said that to help clarify why I'm still worried.

You wouldn't of got that if you fitted bottle tops
Do they need spogit rings fitted and did you fit them?
Edit; I mean spigot rings, but I'm now going to invent something called a spogit

sorry, and the car was doing it b4 i changed the wheels and after too. (I shouldn't write posts after 4 beers
)
No, they don't need spigot rings. They might need spogits?
Can't remember the make of the new tyres but they're decent, but it feels exactly the same as when i had the old wheels on. What's promted me writing this post is I had a long motorway drive today and it's started to sketch me out a bit.

It could be a number of things , is it from the front or rear?

Wishbone bushes on the lolly pops, top mounts could have failed.
