Judacrst done some googling including direct gov,but still none the wiser.if your car used to have screen washer jets connected but you've removed them (in my case for a removable bonnet to drive a track car to the circuit), is this an mot fail? Is it interpretation of the wording which says washer jets must be working,SP if you haven't got any its irrelevant!
Cheers![/u]

Run the washer tube up along the wing channel across the scuttle and cable tie to the wiper arms (or fit the washers that attach to wiper arms from some peugeot etc). You will need the washers for damp races regardless of MOT
it's fine if properly wet as the rain keeps the screen clear, but if just damp it's the same as driving on a motorway after a light shower, you can see bugger all without the washers. As long as there are working washers they don't have to be original.
For sale - E30 320i racer project - sold.

Taking the screen out is alarmingly easy. Just need a flat blade screwdriver. Putting it back in however...
There's been a small development. The existing tubes I'm going to butcher, and send to each wiper held on with cable ties
Seen it done, works a treat!
