I need help!!!
Moderator: martauto
I am thinking about setting up E30's anonymous to help me and others with my obsession and my obsessive behaviour!!!
I am not happy unless I can park the car so I can see it from my window! I had someone try to nick my wheels so now I find myself checking to see if it's ok as I do my nightly pee. I dream about the jobs that need doing to it and finding ridiculous ways of finding the money to do it. I have only owned the car since September and I have spent every spare minute and spare money on it since then and can only see this getting worse. I need help!!!

you need to chill out mate....i love my E30 too but you need to know when to switch off. Its sad to hear that someone tried to nick your wheels mate, have you thought about investing in some locking wheels nuts (unless you have them already).
Try and enjoy the car...

There is no hope mate, I'm 18 months in and already spent twice my budget, still could easily do with another few bags to spend!
I considered shredding all my receipts and telling the mrs I'm an alcoholic

^^ just chill out and do it bit by bit/in stages , if its on the road...just do some every few months or at the change of the seasons or something, which will maybe allow for more thinking/planning and less rushing and produce a better end result
It's that bad that since the toe rags tried to nick my wheels I have two different types of locking nuts on each wheel. I thought to myself as I did it "try and get through that you Barstards" as I laughed to myself. As far as switching off, I can't that the flipping point!
Shred the receipts Meatballs it will be easier, she'll understand better that you have a drink problem over a car problem.

I bought my e30 325i last year as a daily driver and a bit of cheap fun, it had a few key marks round the drivers door so I had the entire car resprayed and de-dented! I then bought three lots of suspension as I wasn't happy with it and over the next eight months it had 000's spent on it and wore 5 different sets of wheels.. I've just got rid of it so I can start again with a calypso one...
Whatever you have, clearly I have it too..

It went in the end did it Tom? Didn't fancy owning both?

It's a drug. But it won't do you much harm though and it's socially acceptable.

It rubs off on those around you too. Last week one of my mates was over, and I noticed he'd gone missing. After 5 minutes of walking round the house thinking 'where the f**k has he gone?', I found him in my garage, just sitting in the e30. I asked what he was doing and his reply as he lovingly held the steering wheel was 'it's been a while'.
