Where is D5GMR - 320iS - Ireland maybe?

Years ago, some of you may remember I had an '88 Portuguese imported 320iS from Wayne Howlett.

While I had it, I put my private plate on it - D5 GMR

Through a series of misfortunes, I sold the car with the plate on and was unable to retrieve it before the new owner 'did one' with it. Long story.

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the car now? I'd love to get in touch with the current owner (different to the low-life I sold it to) and see if they would return the number to me.

Any help would be greatly accepted!

P.S. I've already spoken to the DVLA who were as much help as a see-through curtain.

Was either Lachs or Sterling IIRC.

It was Lachs silver with black leather.

Yeah, I know it's still on the same plate, hence me asking if anyone knew of its whereabouts...
