I need to get me scuttle done soon so I'd like to see a picture of your's to get an idea of how they are stamping them now, they were stamping them on the horizontal surface instead of the vertical one. It is low on the scuttle, hence why I didn't notice it and a little wonky as Simon described, but I'm happy with it.

I have a 325i sport and I am following your posts with interest. My sport has the bad areas you have rectified, rear panel wings, scuttle and aerial. You have cheered me up as I have been wondering if it was worth going on or breaking. I would be very interested in your costs. Don't mean to be nosey but it would give me a good idea of what I would need to find.

Is it the lighting or are some of the numbers stamped deeper than others as the 2 and 1 look deep and the 9 and 4 look like they are only half stamped.
Would there be any chance of a picture from slightly father back so we can see the positioning of it, as it's hard to tell from that picture.

TBH I gave up on new stamped apron panels a few years ago, always made a hash of them at the dealers, wonky and in the wrong place, I got blank ones in the end and popped the original VIN in by welding and cleaning up before I fitted then new panels.
