Doesnt seem too bad for the money, Ive seen them a shit load dearer. Just a case of taking the chance I suppose !

definitely best to keep it original with the Z3/4 shifter, and probably a similar price too

Yep, I have a z3 1.9 one, and I may go to a 2.8 one soon.

The Z3 2.8 shifter will give an even shorter throw than the 1.9. This picture shows all the differences. The longer the distance from the ball to the end, the shorter the throw
