hey all, my inspection light has come on and i was wondering what systems are linked to the lamp to make it come on, or if its just come on to basicly say 'time to see the dealer for a quick check to make sure all is good',
is there a fault somewhere?
does something need attention? if so what components are linked
or is it a time/mileage thing like the oil service
inspection warning light

As far as I can see, the wiki doesn't actually answer the OP's question!
If the 'inspection' light has an illuminated clock symbol in front of it, then this is just a simple twelve month timer, which has inputs from nothing except a clock.

Reading back through the Wiki, you're right, it does need a better explanation! I'll get to work on that.Brianmoooore wrote:As far as I can see, the wiki doesn't actually answer the OP's question!
EDIT: Done. Hopefully the Wiki page should now answer the OP's question.
