Got enough valves in my Red one so no big deal,as for economy as Mick rightly says above thatll be the new owners downfall :chuckle:
To be fair though the M20 looks right at home, keeping it `Old Skool` innit :D
Its bound to look "right at home" though isn't it. That doesnt make it right winkeye

Well ive spent all night tackling the drivers seat but got there eventually
Started off by stripping the battered cloth seat down to use the frame.
Soon became obvious this wasnt going to be an easy hours work....
Image

Popped over to see a mate who made it structually sound again....
Image

Image

Leather seat then stripped for foam and leather sections....
Image

Started at 4.30pm and finally finished about an hour ago
Image

I still need to add the tilt cables to the back section but will have to strip another seat down for that so it can wait for now.

Do you have a buyer lined-up for the car? I take it from the above that you're looking to sell it...?

Plan is get this finished and get some insurance and TAX on it.
Ill lug it about for a bit(till it bankrupts me lol) and get the Touring and Focus up for sale in the meantime.
Then ill see what happens.
Ultimately selling all 3 will buy me a nice E46 Tuoring which lets face it is what I need.
Been to view a 3 bed house already and have got a potential buyer lined up for ours so priorities could change at the drop of a hat right now!

Most important question - does it have a garage / flat driveway? :P

TBH mate it shows up in the pics. It looks like it'll be miles off in person. I'm not trying to be a tw4t either. I reckon you need to dye the driver's seat to match the rest. Liquid Leather seam like a good product???

I agree, with a little Leather dye on both, or all the seats, it'll look alot better.

I know mate. All that graft with the seat base etc, I get why your ruffled!

If you were trying to hide the problem, posting the pic's on here wouldn't be the smartest move.

It'll look amazing once its been dyed though! Colour combo is bob on. If you decide to dye the hole interior. I'd go with the darker drivers seat! Just my personal preference 8)

Looks like the passenger and rear seats are pearl beige and the drivers seat is the later natural beige.

Met up with Assasin at weekend and purchased some KW/Spax springs and some poly eccentric TCA bushes from him, cheers Pete.
Springs are going on my Touring and the unbranded fronts/E36 adjustable rears from the Touring will go on this car along with the TCA bushes.

Black grill would look shit IMO :D

Im over the ordeal with the seats for now.
Ive still got to fit the tilt cables and levers in the drivers seat yet and ive also got the heating elements out of the comfort seats which I could fit.
If the weather gets better soon I might consider stripping them out and dying them at the same time.

Very nice Tony, you've got yourself a keeper there. Dinitrol is going to be your best friend by the completion of this project. The only thing I'm not feeling is the rear lights.

Rear lights are temporary Dan,agreed they do no justice to this car.

Finally made some good progress today.
Fitted a Touring rear roll bar along with new bushes and droplinks
Cleaned and greased all the metal brake pipes..
Then got the arms bolted back to the beam and mounted it all up.
Medium case 3.91 diff then went in to replace the small case 4.10 it had before.
Set of 40mm rear springs get the ride height sorted.
Rear brakes looked relatively new so were stripped/cleaned/adjusted.

Next up 51mm fronts..... :D

Good Work Tony!

Wondering, would it be worth investing in a furnature clinic kit for the leathers?

Given all the work being put in it can only add value :D

Finally got the front suspension swapped over to 51mm.
By no means show standard but ive done the best I could on a very limited budget :D
Stripped the new legs down and couple of coats of Black to clean them up.
Pair of old Apex shocks I had in my garage along with a pair of 60mm KW springs.
New Ate pads fitted and discs scrubbed clean of the surface rust and quick lick of primer.
New droplinks fitted along with Powerflex eccentric TCA`s.
Just got to bleed the brakes up now.
