s50b30 ITBs on m50?

hi buddies. does anyone applied the s50 ITBs on m50's head? it's p&p or has major mods?

I think the main problem was the injectors dont line up.

Major mod. The flanges don't line up.

Also not worthwhile. If you want s50 ITB's, put an s50 in.

right...but I can make a plate to "swap" that on M50's... and the injectors don't line up ?

I still don't have the ITBs with me, it belong to a friend of mine who's selling some S50 parts and I'm thinking to put them,'cause he's selling for 300â‚¬ (+/- £250) ...how worthy is that (hp) ?

I don't think you will gain much, if anything. m50 manifold is pretty well designed and unless you have upped the power considerably with lairy cams and an increase in engine size then they won't do much.

Also be a pain to set up

ok... and what about the s50 injectors? I think they're 24lb capacity, so they're more efficient that the m52b28's... my friend can provide me the S50B30's cams, that could be a better way to put some extra power ,right?

none of your options will work.

s50 cams won´t fit
S50 injectors alone are useless
throttle bodies are too large for a NA B25

There is no point pumping more fuel in than needed it will run rich. Unless you are at the limit of your current injectors then there is no point upgrading.

As said euro m3 cams will not fit. American ones will and give a nice gain. There is a set in the for sale section for £350.

Why don't you just fit an s50?

it's just a great idea but here in Portugal it's not that easy to find a s50 for sale... I was planning to turbo my M50 , and I'll wait sometime till I get evâ‚¬rything

...about the S50 injectors and the ITBS, I thought that could be a nice upgrade and I was wrong

yeeah right

, I wish I'd live there(GB), in Portugal he don't have much thing for bimmers and AUDIs , for example...just a lot of boring Civics and Ibiza Tdi , also a lot of tuning parts for those engines and easily they turn them really nice ...and I like to "smoke" some of them
