Which engine is this? (e36)

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum after purchasing
A sterling silver e30 320se fitted with a 2.5 and mtech2 kit last week. I have an e36 which I'm
Thinking of using the engine from to transplant
Into the e30 in the future but I'm getting confused as to which
Engine it so i can look at the conversion tips on here
It's an n reg e36 328i. The v5c states it's 2793cc 328i coupe registered 30-01-96. Is it a worthwile swap? What power figures should this motor produce? Please excuse my
Lack of knowledge. I'm handy with the spanners
Just new to the BM scene

Yeah I've seen this but I'm not sure what engine it is, ie M50? M52 etc. cheers
