How do the horns attach to the tech1 wheels? not the buttons on the each of the spokes of the steering wheel but how does it attach to the back? the only way i can get the horn to sound is if i grip the wheel and push it towards the steering column
Cheers

The spring loaded carbon brush on the steering column behind the wheel is too worm so is not connecting on the metal ring inside the wheel which completes the circuit allowing the horn to work.
You have a few options, try and get a smaller spacer for the wheel where it attaches to the column.
Replace the carbon brush. you need to drill out the rivets and replace the brush and the rivets with nuts and bolts. The parts all cost about £8 from the dealers.
Or bodge it by screwing a nut onto the end of the brush so it will make a connection. I did this to get my car through its last MOT then replaced the brush.
