Folks,

Im on the home stretch following the rebuild of my 320i (m20) and one thing that has struck me is just how full of crap the engine was..have spent countless hours cleaning most of the engine parts. Now she is rebuilt i have been reading about an oil catcher can to help filter out one of the oil coming into the inlet.

Is this a common mod ?, have any zoner done it?...any input for or against would be most welcome.

cheers in advance

Only really of use on clapped out engines with excessive blow by. a rebuilt engine shouldn't push excessive oil through the breather.
