I think it looks sooooo much nicer and smoother without it! Just needs a decent interior, which I'm part way through sorting and then a nice engine ;).

No idea tbh mate, I would love an s14 but it's alot of dolla for a not that powerful engine. A 2.8 m20 would be cool and I don't think it would be massively expensive tbh. In short no I haven't decided on an engine lol
Love it!

Cheers mate :). Yeah the Z3 is very nice.

Time for a bit of an update. I took my car off the road for winter to hunt for rust. I found more than I wanted to find(obviously being an E30). I've aquired some panels and other parts over the past few weeks. Got the car moved to a unit today and hopefuly the welding will start this week. I'll be up dating as and when I get any photos.

Where it is at the moment.

Looked like this,

It's currently at a workshop having all the welding done,

Replace O/S sill.
Replace O/S inner wheel houseing.
Replace N/S inner wheel housing.
Replace O/S outer wheel arch
Replace N/S outer wheel arch.
Weld up aerial hole in rear quarter.
Reweld on boot hinge.
Let in replacement part of rear panel above O/S light.
Cut out and repair scuttle bodge.
Repair N/S jacking point/foot well and possibly inner sill if needed.
Repair O/S jacking point/foot well and possibly inner sill if needed.
Replace battery tray.
Repair hole/bracket area in N/S front inner wing/arch.
Repair hole/bracet in O/S rear inner arch at top, above breather tank.
Clean up or reweld patch on O/S inner rear arch.

Once all this is done I'll get it recovered and prepped for paint work. I've ordered a few things from BMW aswell as some of the panels, I'll grab photos of these during the week.

Little bit of an update. The car has been at the welder's workshop for over a month now! Has taken a while to get started though :(. Popped over today to see the work and took some photos. Alot of the welds still have to be ground down and cleaned up and then it'll all be protected and smothered in waxoyl.

Popped into the work shop this week. A little bit more has been done. The sill has been taken off to reveal alot of inner sill rust, which isn't that surprising tbh. A few pics I've found on my laptop.

Cheers. I knew there would be rust there as the outer sill that side was rusty. I was told it'd be ready by this weekend, but I doubted that anyway and the extra rust was found. I'd like to have it in my garage all prepped for paint by the end of the month. Time will tell though...
