Hi all,

I've been on this site for about 5 years and am on here quite a bit just never really post anything really not quite sure why!

Been meaning to do this for a while but only got back into the country recently. Basically last year i moved out of England for work and was trying to sell my 1989 325i sport, so had a sale confirmed spent 900 quid on an MOT etc etc.. and then of course they pulled out! so about leave the country and then i saw this car, price was too good to be sniffed at so I bought it, stupid really because now I have 2 1989 325i sports in exactley the same colour! one will be for sale shortly...

This was garaged while I was away so just got it out to play with :-)

So this car is a 1989 325i sport in Delphin grey, 90k, pretty good condition really needs a bit of tlc but the body work is pretty good, front valance could do with a respray.

plans for it will be to remove the smoked indicators, put back to normal ride height (seems slightly lower). replace rear lights to original, OBC to be fitted, new windscreen(cracked), new rear windscreen(doesn't de mist) and a full service..

Anyway just thought i'd share this...

any thoughts, comments, anyone ever owned this car or know anyone has..

1st one IMO is my all time favourite E30 combination - best colour, best shell, best engine/transmission, best interior trim.
Ride height looks just right, swap the rear lights & indicators for the ones off the other car - job jobbed
WIN.

Thanks, always has been my favourite combo, maybe grey bubble leathers from the m3 though! plan to do a bit of swapping! still not sure about the ride height though and haven't really checked how they have achieved it which might come as an expensive surprise!

Yes the 'RN' part is a preston area reg.
Drop in to your local dealers and do a spec check. This will tell you what the selling dealer was, along with what the car was optioned with, when new.
If this sort of history is what you want, you can also do a fee paying enquiry to the DVLA and they will supply all the info on previous owners.

@csl Clock Garage BMW in Accrington

thanks tony have owned e30's for about 12 years now, started with 318 and moved my way up, still never owned a 320is, M3 or an hartge/alpina varient. My end game would be B6S but i doubt that will ever happen!
